The next cycle is how I define the different ages that mankind experiences throughout history. Some call these astrological ages, which they may well be. What I am sure of, is that these are periods that one can observe substantial changes in humanity as a whole. We are currently experiencing a change from one cycle to the next. We will see the institutions of division that have plagued our species brought to an end. The next cycle will be one of unification and growth for our global society. This change is not only inevitable, it is necessary for survival. The period of change from one cycle to the next will get much darker than it currently is. There are many that will not want to see this world pass away, and will fight to maintain the world in which they experience great comfort and control. But, for the new to begin, the old must pass away. As dark as it may get, there is light at the other end, and it will be worth the darkness we must endure.
Join William Frank Wilkinson as he introduces himself and his ideas regarding The Next Cycle.
What will the world be like when our civilization goes the way of the ancient ones we learned about in history class? How will humanity move forward in the next cycle of life? Frank Cromwell’s life work was to bring unity to the world’s religions. As the world rebuilds following a period of devastation, his talents are called into service in both religious and secular aspects of society. Aided by a being of undefined nature, and the love and support of his family, Frank is challenged by human nature…both his own and that of others…a nature that seems determined to keep the human species divided. Join Frank, his family, and society as a whole as they journey into the foundational years of The Next Cycle.
William Wilkinson lives, as he was raised, in a small New England town. Married for twenty years, he and his wife have raised two girls with the support of the community and their church. His formal studies concentrated on Christian ministry and psychology, though his passions have always been history and observations of the world around him. His formal studies and passions combined to guide his philosophical worldview. An avid storyteller, bringing that worldview to light in the form of fiction seemed natural to him. The Next Cycle was motivated by what William saw as the full display of human division during the Coronavirus pandemic and recent presidential election cycles. This work will be the first in a series that the author hopes will help to show the perils of division and the glory of unification.
